club schedule

Kathryn has published next year’s club schedule;

as you are making your reservations please contact the Wagon Masters so they will have a count of who is coming and when you will be pulling in. I really hope you all are as excited about next year’s camping schedule as I am. Looking forward to seeing everyone next year. Your President, Mary PS We have just returned from a wonderful weekend with club members at White Oak Shores, bringing in the New Year. A great job by wagon masters Jonas and Pat Williams. We had a very nice brunch on Thursday morning and homemade breads by Pat for the Friday morning coffee meet and great. Jonas and Javit did a great job with the Hillbilly fire pot keeping us warm at night and in morning to enjoy our coffee. We had some guests join us and they caught the Rex club fever and joined the club. I would like to give a warm welcome to John, Nancy and Shirley- looking forward to seeing you at several trips this year. Look forward to seeing everyone at Mount Pleasant in March.

FROM THE CLUB PRESIDENT

FROM THE CLUB PRESIDENT

Happy 2015: I am so ready for our camping year to start. Wow, what a busy time the club had in December with James Island and Mike’s Farm, a great time with club friends. Kathryn, Jeff, Andre, Susan, and Marian, thanks for making our month so successful. A big thanks to all the members that participated, you are what make the events such a success, and without you the club wouldn’t be the club we are today. I have contacted the SC Coachman club and the VA Coachman club-they both were very happy to accept our invitation for our mini rally in Roanoke Rapids in September. I will be meeting with them in February to put the itinerary together. There will be two payments: one directly to the campground for your camp site and a separate rally fee to cover meals and extra activities. At this time I am thinking 2 meals and 2 morning refreshments. Keeping in mind to keep expenses low, this is a club function so please contact me with any suggestions of what you would like to see or do while there, so when we have our planning meeting I can include your thoughts. We have reserved 25 sites. We will need volunteers to help; please contact me if you are interested in assisting. The SC and VA clubs have done this before, so they are willing to help. There will be more information in the March newsletter following our planning session.
